EASE App

The logo has a bright blue background with the word ease written in lower case, white, sans serif font for a friendly appearance. Next to the e is the brand icon, which is an e, with the top section shaped in an oval pointing up past the word ease. It has a leaf-like appearance and is pink. Underneath are the words Promoting Wellbeing for Job Success.

The EASE App is almost here!

We aim to launch the app on Google Play Store and Apple Store later this month.

How does the app work?

You can identify the areas most important to you in your current employment and answer a few simple questions to help identify how things are going.

If it appears you need support in a particular area, the app will know this by your score. It will provide links to relevant services and information which can provide support. By creating a personal user profile, this will tailor the app and ensure the resource links are relevant for you, e.g. you will only be shown services which are in the area you live.

However the app is not just for use when there is an issue at work, it’s there to help you keep on track when things are going well.

The app will provide motivational messages, resources to help maintain wellbeing and tips for career progression. You will also be given top tips, reminders and updates to keep you engage and motivated to find solutions if and when required. You will have access to your personal resource bank at any time – where you can select your favourite resources for quick access.

Here’s how the EASE App developed…

The EASE App is for disabled workers to check their wellbeing based on a range of challenges people may face in employment, and get help quickly if needed. Its purpose is to facilitate Early Action to Sustain Employment (EASE).

In 2025 the SUSE team secured funding for the development of the EASE App in Scotland. This phone application will encourage individuals to assess their wellbeing, request support, and prevent employment challenges. We are thrilled to be at the forefront of self-management activities and look forward to making a real impact with this project.

EASE has been made possible via the Scottish Government funding administered by The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE). The Self Management Fund for Scotland aims to empower people living with long term conditions, disabled people and unpaid carers to take control their health, care and wellbeing.

The project, which will be delivered over the next three years, began by engaging with our EASE App Delivery Team. The team are a group of SUSE members and partners, including Your Options Understood (Y.O.U), Alliance for Inclusion, Arthritis UK and the Experience Network, working together to bring their expertise and lived experience to ensure the app is accessible and the resources are targeted and useful.

Anonymous information from the app will also help us learn how to provide better employment support for disabled people in work, a group that is often overlooked.
