Disability Audit

A solutions led approach to creating accessible workplaces.

We have partnered with Your Options Understood (Y.O.U) to deliver Disability Audits to businesses across Scotland.

The Disability Audits offer a first-hand insight into the right approach to not only ensuring facilities and services are accessible for disabled employees and customers but also small practical things, such as what type of straws to stock.

Nothing is too big or small: we will ensure you are inclusive to all.

It can be the smallest detail that makes the biggest difference to someone, either in the workplace or to their customer experience.

How does a Disability Audit work?

We work with you to determine what’s right for your business. Members of our Experience Network, led by Dr Danielle Farrel from Your Options Understood, visit your premises and provide a lived experience perspective on your accessibility. This may be your physical spaces, facilities or services.

Similar to our Digital Recruitment Reviews, the Disability Audit provides an actionable report with a priority key to easily identify the most important elements. The report will also highlight what you’re doing well!

The Audit is aimed at assisting businesses to improve the services and facilities you already have, in a constructive and friendly way.
