The venue can be accessed by car, bus or train. Full information for getting to the venue is available on the hotel’s website: https://www.stirlingcourthotel.co.uk/find-us-parking
The closest train station is Stirling, which has direct trains from Aberdeen Edinburgh Waverley, Glasgow Queen Street and Perth. The hotel is 2 miles from the train station.

The University of Stirling has excellent bus links from Stirling city centre and some from Bridge of Allan. The Unilink shuttle bus between Stirling centre, the train station and the main University campus is one of the handiest and most regular services. Most bus services to the campus run from either just outside Stirling’s Rail Station or a two minute walk away, in Murray Place.

Yes, there is a large car park outside the hotel. SUSE delegates receive complimentary parking if you register your car at the hotel reception. Please note, we expect this area to fill up quickly, please arrive early or consider public transport.
Yes, the conference is on the ground floor, which can be accessed via the main entrance of the hotel. It is one level from the registration desk through to the refreshments, breakout rooms, exhibition space and restaurant. One breakout room is located on the first floor and there is an accessible lift available for use. There is plenty of outdoor space available, including grass areas for those who require it, e.g. support dogs.
There will be a Quiet Area available throughout the day, which is located near the restaurant. If you require use of a private room at any specific times, please contact fiona@susescotland.scot

- Relay screens for presentations
- Electronic note takers and display screen in the main room
- Hearing loops in the main room
- Large font programme
- Easy Read programme

Breakfast (morning rolls and pastries) and lunch will be provided, along with morning and afternoon refreshments, including tea, coffee, water and sweet treats.

Yes. It is available on the SUSE website, SUSE Annual Conference.
Printed programmes will be available on the day, with large font and Easy Read version also available. If you require one of these alternative formats, please ask at the Registration desk on the day.
Full details of the breakout sessions (workshops) will be available on the SUSE website, Conference Workshops. You will also have the option to put your name down for sessions via the Conference Workshops page.
While this is not essential, it is important to note that if you don’t pre-register, some sessions may be reach room capacity and your first choice therefore may not be available on the day. You will also have the option to register for sessions at the Registration desk on the day.
Yes. You will have received a confirmation email when you pre-registered for breakout sessions on the SUSE website. Simply reply to that email with your updated choices and we’ll make that change for you if space is available.

Yes, on arrival and during breaks there will be opportunities to chat with other delegates and visit the exhibition stands.
The Stirling Court Hotel has reserved hotel accommodation for SUSE delegates on the night before the conference. £99 Bed and breakfast per room. Cancellation: 2pm day prior to arrival.

No, this year we will not be streaming the conference online. We have provided this option in previous years, however as the costs to offer this service are high and we have not had enough demand we have taken the decision to not stream online this year.
