Supported Employment is a 5 stage programme that has been designed to support disabled people or people with long term conditions to get paid work. It  is underpinned by a set of values and principles that ensure each person and their employer receives a high quality and consistent service, regardless of which local provider is supporting them.

The Supported Employment Framework is endorsed by the Scottish Government as “an employment first approach”, which focuses on positive outcomes for individuals.

The Supported Employment Framework

The European Union of Supported Employment (EUSE) developed a toolkit to increase the knowledge and skills of professionals responsible for the delivery of Supported Employment services. The toolkit is primarily aimed at service providers for use in their staff development programmes.
