Apt works with employers across Scotland to deliver services that will improve and advance the prospects of disabled people who are looking to enter and sustain paid work.
We’re asking employer to adapt to diversity, adapt to inclusion and adapt to close the Disability Employment Gap. It’s often the small adjustments that make a huge difference.
SUSE leads the Apt projects. We provide expert support to help employers make workplaces more accessible for disabled people and those with long-term conditions.
We bring together the Experience Network and our delivery and training partners to deliver practical support and services which are tailored to workplaces.
By partnering with Scottish Government, Local Authorities and Local Employability Partnerships (LEPs) we can offer fully funded advice, support and training for employers – ensuring recruitment processes and workplace practices are inclusive.

We’re currently offering three fully funded Apt projects:
Discover how embracing diversity can boost innovation, attract top talent and strengthen your business for the future. Fully funded by Glasgow City Council, this programme of advice, support and training is for employers based and/or operating in Glasgow.
A diverse range of fully funded training to expand knowledge, build confidence and equip you to better support disabled employees. Funded by Renfrewshire LEP, this programme of training is for employers and people based and/or operating in Renfrewshire.
Fully funded solutions to build employers capacity to retain, support and develop their disabled talent and create inclusive workplaces. Funded by the Scottish Government, this project is available to private or third sector employers across Scotland.
