Key Worker Training is a capacity-building programme tailored for key workers in Glasgow who support jobseekers facing complex barriers to employment.
Key Worker Training: Inclusive Futures in Glasgow
The Key Worker Training programme is designed to support and develop frontline No One Left Behind workers across Glasgow. Delivered for the first time through the Glasgow Futures Programme, this training aims to build specialist knowledge, strengthen service delivery and create a more inclusive employment landscape for disabled jobseekers and those with additional support needs.
What Is Key Worker Training?
Many jobseekers have disabilities, often undeclared or unidentified – this training equips key workers with the tools, insights and confidence to deliver that support effectively.
Why Participate?
By engaging in this programme, key workers will:
- Gain access to specialist training from experts and individuals with lived experience of disability.
- Enhance your ability to support participants
- Contribute to a city-wide culture of inclusion, improving outcomes for disabled jobseekers.

How It Works
Delivered by SUSE and our consortium of specialist partners, the training covers a broad spectrum of disabilities – both cognitive and physical. The programme began with a Training Needs Analysis, inviting key workers to shape the curriculum and identify gaps. Providers and individuals are also encouraged to join as delivery partners, helping build a sustainable, city-wide training network.
Training Needs Analysis
To ensure the training programme is specific and relevant to your requirements and addresses any gaps in knowledge, we asked anyone working as part of Glasgow Futures No One Left Behind programme to give us your feedback. Thank you to everyone who responded.
