Courtney has dedicated her entire professional career to supporting people with additional support needs. She currently serves as the Programme Specialist for Scotland at DFN Project SEARCH, a charity committed to securing full-time, paid employment for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum conditions.
Prior to joining DFN Project SEARCH, Courtney worked as an Assistant Headteacher with a focus on inclusivity. In this role, she designed bespoke curricula aimed at achieving meaningful outcomes for all students, while also delivering programmes such as The Prince’s Trust.
As someone who identifies as AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD) and LGBT+, Courtney has always been deeply passionate about improving opportunities and outcomes for marginalised groups. Through her extensive experience in education, she has witnessed the critical importance of creating clear pathways to success. As a trustee at SUSE, Courtney is committed to breaking down barriers and driving systemic change, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live the life they are capable of.
