We are delighted to welcome Grant Campbell as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Scottish Union of Supported Employment (SUSE). Grant officially joined the organisation on 1 July 2026.
Grant joins SUSE from Homeless Network Scotland where he was Head of Partnerships and Collaboration.
Grant is a highly regarded collaborator and facilitator – and a well-known face in the homelessness sector, including his time as Director of Client Services at Crisis UK and Chief Executive of Glasgow City Mission.
In Glasgow, Grant was also part of the Alliance Core Team, alongside Glasgow Health & Social Care Partnership and Homeless Network Scotland, that led the consultation and design stage of the Glasgow Alliance to End Homelessness. Grant was also a founding member of the City Ambition Network (CAN) which has brought a flexible and collaborative approach for creating stable pathways for people who are homeless and facing severe disadvantage.
Grant’s strong focus on social justice and highly transferable skills developed in a challenging sector make him an ideal candidate to step into the shoes of his much-respected predecessor, David Cameron.
Speaking about his appointment, Grant said:
“I’m delighted to be joining the team at SUSE and starting this new chapter with them. SUSE have played a significant role in Scotland’s Supported Employment landscape, and I’m looking forward to this next phase and the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Looking ahead, Grant is passionate about creating a Scotland where disabled people and those with long-term health conditions can access meaningful employment and progress in their chosen careers.
He added:
“More than ever Scotland needs to be creating inclusive workplaces and inspiring disabled jobseekers and those with long-term health conditions to pursue meaningful careers. Together we can create a culture where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”
Everyone at SUSE is excited to welcome Grant to the organisation. We look forward to working together with our members, partners and stakeholders to strengthen Supported Employment, advance inclusion, and create a Scotland where everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential through work.
