Congratulations to the University of Edinburgh for achieving their Inclusive Workplace Award for the second time! The award recognises organisations that are forward-thinking about equality and adopting diversity practices.

Fiona from SUSE met the Disability Information team and presented their award to Gavin McLachlan, Vice Principal, Chief Information Officer and Librarian to the University.

“We are delighted to be receiving the SUSE Inclusive Workplace Award again. Thank you to the Information Services team for their hard work and dedication in renewing our award. As a charity our mission at the University is not only to educate and conduct world leading research, but also to do good in the community. We are excited about what the SUSE award has done for us and about the new and evolving opportunities for us to improve further, including the opportunities that flexible and hybrid working can bring and what this means for our staff and more inclusive working. What this award represents is extremely important to us and we plan to continue to work with SUSE in the future and would encourage other organisations to take part in the Inclusive Workplace Award scheme.”
