Our first full team Development Day brought together SUSE staff, training partners and members of the Experience Network for a thoroughly enjoyable and productive morning. The relaxed format provided a valuable opportunity for everyone to share ideas and discuss opportunities for the future.
A particular highlight was the chance to meet our new CEO, Grant Campbell, and hear about his plans and vision for SUSE. It was also a great opportunity for colleagues and partners to introduce themselves, learn more about each other’s work and strengthen relationships across the network. With many of us working remotely on a day-to-day basis, the event gave everyone the chance to get together in person, reconnect and enjoy conversations that are often difficult to have online.
The Mental Health and Wellbeing at Work session provided useful insights and prompted thoughtful discussion, while the informal networking over coffee and lunch allowed plenty of time for catching up with colleagues old and new. Overall, everyone agreed that it was a thoroughly enjoyable event, a great opportunity to meet Grant, and a welcome chance to spend time together in a more informal setting. We look forward to taking some of the ideas discussed forward and building on the positive momentum created during the day.
