The Usual Place in Academy Street, Dumfries is delighted to be the chosen venue for a very interesting photographic exhibition which was launched on Monday 2nd March.
The exhibition will be available to customers during cafe opening times until Friday 10th April 2026.
Organised by U3A Camera Club and The Dumfries Lions Club proceeds from sales of the photographic prints in this exhibition are kindly in aid of The Usual Place.
Members of the U3A Camera Club have inherited 150 mounted photographic prints created by the late Geoff Walters. Geoff was a keen member of the U3A Camera Club and a one-time member of the Dumfries and the Loreburn Camera Clubs. In tribute to Geoff’s prolific work, The Dumfries Lions Club has offered to help exhibit and sell the photos in aid of the “The Usual Place” community café and Dumfries Lions Club.
