Museums Galleries Scotland
Museums Galleries Scotland joins SUSE as an Apt 30 employer. We are the national development body for Scotland’s museum sector. We support 450 museums and galleries through strategic investment, advice, workforce development, and advocacy.
Apt 30 employers have been recognised by SUSE for continually demonstrated their commitment to being inclusive employers.
Museums Galleries Scotland (MGS) have shown enthusiasm for learning and development – improving their recruitment processes to encourage more disabled applicants, as well as supporting their current staff to develop in their roles and sustain employment.
Training Programmes
We deliver both formal and vocational, skills-based courses through our MGS Skills Academy. These are facilitated by MGS and partner organisations.
Museums Futures Programme
The Museum Futures programme of essential support has been developed in direct response to the significant and ongoing financial and capacity challenges faced by the sector.
