Job Description

Fair Start Scotland is the new devolved employability programme in Scotland. The successful candidates will join the Learning and Employability Team of Stirling Council working with colleagues to deliver the programme for and in partnership with local people.

Fair Start Scotland is a voluntary programme and you will work with individual clients and partners to design person centred bespoke programmes of employability support that meet the needs of local people. Your approach will be innovative by design and you will be able to build effective relationships with individuals which supports their journey in to employment and provides appropriate levels of in work support. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and you will be able to sustain the motivation of clients supporting them to get the most out of their time in the programme. Partnership working skills will also be key in respect of the design and delivery of employability supports with third sector organisations.

You will have a proven track record of providing employability support including supported employment experience and be able to demonstrate a range of successful employability interventions. A knowledge of learning and training approaches will also be required.

This post is temporary until 4th April 2023.
