At SAMH, we support the aim of simplifying access to social security and supporting people into work. However, we are deeply concerned by the ongoing roll out of Universal Credit in its current form, and its impact on people with mental health problems. The event will bring together policy workers and practitioners to explore the impact of Universal Credit on people with mental health problems to date. Group discussions will also look to the future of the rollout including the managed migration of legacy benefit claimants to Universal Credit and explore possible solutions to the problems with Universal Credit.
We will be hosting a short seminar at the Scottish Youth Theatre on 13 December from 10:15-12:30
Join us to help find a way to bring about change.
Please RSVP by 30 November 2018 to email@example.com
We hope you can make it. Best, SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health)
