Y.O.U is a non-profit community interest company, who offer a range of flexible person-centred services. We work with individuals and families who live with a variety of disabilities.
Y.O.U provides a range of services for individuals and families with disabilities. At present these can be delivered online or in-person as Covid-19 restrictions allow. Available services include:- Advocacy, Consultancy, Training and Education, Person-Centred Planning Support and Self-Directed Support advice. Y.O.U also provides a range of commissioned services to various organisations including SUSE and In-Control Scotland.
Y.O.U also provides advice and guidance to employers and businesses seeking to be fully inclusive. All services are designed and delivered from Dr Danielle Farrel's (Managing Director of Y.O.U) lived experience of disability.
Advocacy
Y.O.U is here to give you a voice and understands the challenges and obstacles that sometimes have to be overcome as a result of living with a disability.
Education and Training
Y.O.U. provides a range of training and educational programs suitable for a variety of participants and sectors. Y.O.U currently offers a range of training and workshops that covers a variety of topics
Consultancy
Y.O.U can provide consultancy in a range of different ways.
Self Directed Support Advice
Self Directed Support came into force in 2013 with the Self-Directed Support Act. This means that individuals and families now have choice and control over their support, how it is provided and by whom.
Person Centred Planning Support
Whether you are a young person transitioning from child to adults services or an individual living with a disability who requires support to plan their future.
