What does it mean to be prepared and ready for work? What would help young people as they transition to work?

This research project is going to be focused on work readiness; what it means to different people (employers/young people/practitioners), and what the barriers and enablers are to achieving it.

Rachael, a PhD student at the University of Glasgow is looking for practitioners working in employment support, as well as young people, to take part in a short informal interview.

Attached are brief one-page documents about the research for Practitioners and Young People. (Note: There is a £10 gift voucher available for any young person who would like to take part).

For further information or to take part please contact Rachael at r.murphy.1@research.gla.ac.uk

Note: This project is funded by Skills Development Scotland, and overall findings will be used to help inform policy and practise.
