There’s no question that we’re living through a challenging time. Covid-19 has ripped up the rulebook on what normal work looks like, and people all over Scotland have been required to do a juggling act as work and home lives have become more and more blended.

FAIR FLEXIBLE WORK – A CHANGE AGENT NETWORK FOR SCOTLAND

Fair Flexible Work for Scotland is a programme run by Timewise to stimulate a fairer flexible jobs market in Scotland as part of the post-pandemic recovery. The programme has been commissioned by the Scottish Government as part of a range of measures to tackle workplace inequality and to enable employers to attract and keep talented people.

Following on from a successful programme in 2020, working with organisations such as Scottish Enterprise, CIPD Scotland, CBI Scotland and Edinburgh and Glasgow City Councils, Timewise are delighted to be extending the programme to offer support to both local authorities and recruitment agencies across Scotland. The programme will support organisations taking part to better support businesses they engage with – either as partners or clients – to embrace new ways of working. This will include a series of workshops covering matters from understanding flexible job design, to stimulating more inclusive recruitment practices, to making sure hybrid working is fair and consistent for all workers.

Find out more about these workshops here and how to register – the deadline for noting interest is 30th June 2021
