Liz Johnson, Paralympic gold medallist turned disability campaigner and businesswoman, has written an excellent article on flexible working for the Chartered Management Institute. In this article, she explains that, for disabled people, working from home is often the difference between the ability to work or not work at all. With the rise of flexible working during the COVID-19 pandemic, Johnson believes that continuing to offer this opportunity to disabled workers will not only close the Disability Employment Gap, but create equal opportunities for career progression.
